Hi! I'm Andy Pennebaker
I've always needed a creative outlet. Journalism and guitar were my focus until I picked up photography in 2009. I got my start by capturing shots of my child growing up and discovered I had a knack for it - and that I loved playing with light. In fact, the word "photography" means "writing with light" or "drawing with light."
My child is all grown up now, but I'll always have those captured moments on film and in my heart.
When I'm working behind the camera, those two facts are always at the front of my mind. I'm using light to paint something truly unique for my clients while capturing their memories, emotions, milestones, and connections. I aim to deliver photos that allow you to take a trip to the past that feels real, whether that's reliving your wedding vows or the sunset at the beach with your family.

Our experience with Andy was great! We had 6 adults and 1 toddler for a 45 minute beach session. He knew the limitations of the timing of sunset as well as the attention span of a toddler and he worked very efficiently throughout the session to make sure we got all the shots we wanted!
